Looking Ahead to Our 50th Anniversary— Advancing Marine Peptides and Sustainable Food Ingredients

Our company will celebrate its 50th anniversary on April 22, 2026.Our journey began in post-war Japan, driven by the mission to develop gentle, easily absorbable, health-focused nutrition ingredients for people suffering from malnutrition. We turned our attention to small fish—an under-valued but abundant marine resource—and pioneered a peptide extract through autolysis. This innovation laid the groundwork for our extract seasoning business and the development of functional food ingredients


Guided by our core philosophy —contributing to people’s health and well-being— we then began researching the functionality of sardine peptides. This eventually led to the development and commercialization of VALTYRON®, a clinically studied bioactive peptide that supports healthy blood pressure.


We also developed “upcycling technology” to transform unused seafood resources, into high-quality extract seasonings. Our technologies support global demand for sustainable ingredients, clean-label formulations, and circular-economy food solutions, which are increasingly important in the international food, beverage, and nutraceutical sectors.
