Lowered Blood Pressure and Anti-Aging Support through Natural Peptides VALTYRON®︎ is a functional food extract that supports anti-aging and controls elevated blood pressure. It's made from organic sardines using Senmi Ekisu's proprietary enzyme-assisted extraction technology.

Key Benefits of VALTYRON®︎

  • Clinical studies have shown that taking supplements containing VALTYRON®︎ helped lower elevated blood pressure toward normal levels.
  • The valyl tyrosine (a dipeptide composed of valine and tyrosine) present in VALTYRON®︎ has been shown to inhibit the action of angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) and the production of angiotensin II that can cause vasoconstriction and elevated blood pressure. The properties of VALTYRON®︎ are believed to help prevent blood pressure elevation through reduced vasoconstriction.

Scientific Evidence

Decreased blood vessel elasticity is one of the causes of hypertension, known to contribute to a number of serious diseases. The elasticity of blood vessels generally decreasing with age is a known fact. Thomas Sydenham, the 17th century physician known as the English Hippocrates, once famously said, "A man is as old as his arteries."

For nearly 20 years, we have been conducting research on sardine extract peptides in cooperation with Kyushu University and other research institutions. Based on the results of these studies, we have come to the following hypothesis:

"Valyl tyrosine contained in sardine extract taken orally is absorbed from the intestines into blood vessels and suppresses the action of angiotensin converting enzyme (ACE), which in turn suppresses the production of angiotensin II that can cause vasoconstriction and elevated blood pressure."
